Short Description:

Water-based epoxy zinc-rich primer is made of water-based two-component epoxy resin, amine curing agent, zinc powder, nano-functional materials and related additives. It is an anti-rust pigment with water as diluent and free of heavy metals such as chromium and lead.

Surface Treatment /

Before surface treatment, the coated surface should be pre-picked to remove the residual salt, grease, chemicals, and other pollutants. After spray treatment, the surface rust removal grade Sa2.5 or above, and the local steel surface treated by hand or power tools should meet the requirements of St3. After metal surface treatment, it is appropriate to apply primer within 4h, and when rust or contamination is found, the surface treatment should be re-performed.

Coating Ingredient /

The two-component water-based coating products should be formulated in strict accordance with the main paint/curing agent ratio provided, and the two components should be stirred evenly after curing for about 30 minutes, and then used with the prepared coating should be used up within 4h, and the coating that appears gelatinized should not be used. During the construction process, a small amount of clean water can be appropriately added according to the viscosity of the coating product, and the amount of clean water added is 0~5%(weight ratio).

Scope Of Application /

It is suitable for anticorrosive coating of various oil storage tank outer surface, oil pipeline pipeline, device, equipment, steel structure and cast iron in certain corrosive environment, especially for heavy anticorrosive primer.
